The buildings, situated in the Ancoats region of the city, have been preserved with backing from English Heritage.
Brass Victorian keys were presented to Martin Lloyd, head of property for the Northwest Regional Development Agency, to signify the completion of the project.
Colin Fearns, business development director at building firm Morgan Ashurst, told Crains Manchester Business that the project would have cultural and community-wide significance.
"All three buildings are being revitalised as part of the regeneration of the Ancoats district. It is very exciting to see the future of historic buildings in this area being secured, as well as providing useful amenities for the area," he commented.
The buildings under preservation consisted of New Little Mill, a former textile mill which is now a Grade II-listed building, a former Victorian retail store at 87 Great Ancoats Street, and old hostel Jactin House, situated on Hood Street.
Ancoats is currently in the midst of a wider regeneration scheme and was recently visited by chancellor Alistair Darling.
