Accountancy firm Baker Tilly has just signed a 15-year lease for 17,000 sq ft on the ninth floor of Allied London's 3 Hardman Street development.
The firm, which employs 130 people at its Lincoln Square office in the city centre, agreed to £30 per sq ft, which, according to Crain's Manchester Business magazine, is a record price for 3 Hardman Street.
Managing partner Mark Blakemore told the publication: "We looked at numerous options in and out of the city centre, but Spinningfields ... was clearly the best option.
"It ensures we remain at the heart of the city's professional community and within the most accessible location for our staff."
Earlier this year, the Bank of New York agreed to open a second Manchester office at Spinningfields.
