Cheshire is home to some of the world's most successful multinational companies and it has a growing reputation for its financial and service sectors - just two of the reasons why it is attracting an ever larger share of business investment in the UK.

The automotive sector in Cheshire is one of the strongest in Europe. It is worth around £9 billion and employs over 43,000 people. There are over 8,000 people employed at these three companies alone.

The crucible of the UK's chemical industry, Cheshire boasts a dynamic manufacturing base, too. In particular, for petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and drink and construction.
